10 Bible Verses on Peace to Help You Fight Anxiety

Peace seems to be extremely elusive in our culture today.

Am I right?!?

We are all physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually worn out far too often. As a culture, we are stressed, distracted, anxious and exhausted. Each of these Bible verses on peace (in its various translations) offers a reminder of God’s faithfulness to give us His peace when we take the time to seek Him.

10 Scriptures on Peace

John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”  John 14:27 NIV

Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Romans 15:13

Isaiah 26:3-4

Matthew 11:28-30

I am praying for all who might read these Scriptures on peace, that God will meet you right where you are and give you an incredible abundance of peace (even in the moments when stress and anxiety seemingly should be running rampant) as you seek to follow Him.
